Tree stays decorated at least until the tulips bloom, so... another month. Please excuse the fencing project in the background. Neighbor lady wants a gate between our yards. How can you say no to a great grandma?

Henna Tattoo

Rhetta received a henna tattoo kit as a gift recently so we saved it for a Saturday. I, uh, read the directions wrong so we only let it sit for two hours instead of six hours before applying, but she loves it so I'm happy too.

I should note that this is the most still Rhetta has ever been in her life except when she's sleeping. It took so long that when I asked her if she wanted me to do the other hand she flat out said nope!

She said at first that she wanted to write her name and the name of her true love. That prompted a talk about how you should only ever get tattoos of names of your children even if it is temporary. I'm not sure how much she really understood but when it came time to do the henna she requested a fairy.
